JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Judge Tracey Mason-White, associate circuit judge for Sullivan County (in the 9th Judicial Circuit). was one of five judges honored by Supreme Court of Missouri ChiefJustice George W. Draper III at an annual ceremony honoring exemplary service to the people of Missouri. The ceremony was held Thursday morning, September 17 as part of the annual meeting of the Judicial Conference of Missouri, the organization of all state judges, which was held virtually. Draper presented Mason-White with the Judicial Excellence Award for associate circuit judges, telling the audience that, as the co-founder of the Sullivan County Juvenile Treatment Court (or STARS: Support and Treatment for At-Risk Students). she “facilitates working relationships with the local community and employers to provide assistance to participants where it is needed.” The award is presented annually to one of the 202 associate circuit judges in the state of Missouri. Mason-White is the secretary/treasurer of the Missouri Association of Probate and Associate Circuit Judges and has distinguished herself through her work on trial judge education and. more recently, her work on the Supreme Court of Missouri’s civil rules committee.
