HAROLD HOWARD

Harold Howard, 70 years old of Green City, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 unexpectedly in his home.

Harold was born May 29, 1950 in Unionville, MO to William and Violet (Handley) Howard.

In 1969 he married Jo Ann (Howard) Rodman and five children were born to this marriage.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, James, Leon, William, Wayne, and Raymond Lee, one sister, Ada Sayre, and one son, Scott Howard.

He is survived by four children, Kristi Mason and husband Rick of Novinger, Julie Drake and husband Chris of Grimes, Iowa, Matthew Howard and wife Beth of Milan, and Ashley Eiler of Kirksville; grandchildren, Rusten, Dalis, Sydney, Samantha, Skylar, Saydie, Blake, Lucas, Drayven, Chaysten, and Ayvah; great grandchildren, Talon and Bella; three sisters, Dorothy, Fleta, and Shirley; and four brothers, Robert, Richard, Dwayne, and Kenneth; and several nieces and nephews.

Harold graduated from Novinger. He was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. He moved to Marshalltown, Iowa in 1969 where he worked for Grafton Foundry and worked for several elderly people doing odd jobs. In 1990 he moved back to Missouri working for Con Agra, Farmland, Milan Health Care, and doing odd jobs. Harold loved his John Deere lawn mowers and fishing. He enjoyed being with his family and grandkids and friends.

Funeral services for Harold were held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Green City. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery, South of Green City. Pallbearers were: Gavin Howard, Matthew Howard, Blake Howard, Lucas Howard, Rusten Hill, and Drayven Veach.
