BASKETBALL ALL STATE SELECTION
Cadence Pauley was selected to the First Team All-State Class lll squad. Also Cadence Pauley was recognized by the Missouri Basketball Coaches’ Association, the Class lll Girls’ Basketball as Player of the Year. This is quite a feat considering Milan was elevated from Class ll to Class lll this post season.
The Ladycat basketball squad finished 21-5 and a record-breaking season. From the beginning of the season, success seemed evident. Winning the 2020 Tri-Rivers Classic Championship, 2021 Milan Tournament Champions, 2021 Eastern GRC Division Champions, 7-0 record, second in Final GRC standings, Class lll District and Sectional Champions, losing in the Quarter finals. They finished 5th in the Final Class lll State Rankings. A special tribute to Cadence, team, program, and coaching staff.
MILAN LADYCAT POST SEASON HONORS
The 2021 Northeast Media All- District Basketball Selections were made for Class lll Girls’ Basketball. Cadence Pauley was chosen at the top of the list.
Jordyn Gray was selected to First Team Honors. Six girls were chosen to the First squad and two were from the Milan Ladycats.
