Members of the Newtown Community 4-H Club recently completed a community service, beautification project at the junction of Highways 139 and Route E, just north of Harris. They removed overgrown vegetation and cleaned out the existing flower bed. New plants, flowers, and landscaping materials were purchased using funds from a grant awarded by FCS Financial. Sullivan County Farm Supply graciously provided mulch for the project at a discounted rate.
Club members include (left to right): Tristen Faulkner, Johannes Oaks, Liam Oaks, Ryland Oaks, Kaden Oaks, Landry Oaks, and Grant Oaks. Seth Oaks is the Club Leader.
