LEOMA PEARL BURNS

Leoma Pearl Burns, 87, of Brookfield passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at McLarney Manor, Brookfield, MO.

Leoma Pearl daughter of Robert Lambert and Gertrude (Head) Lambert was born January 13, 1934 in Shelby, MO.

On October 8, 1951 she married Clinton Bennett, he preceded her in death on July 16, 1997.

Then on September 23, 2008 she married Ellis Burns in Branson, MO. Leoma enjoyed dancing, playing cards, sewing, and cooking. Leoma loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Ellis Burns of the home; one son Clinton Dean Bennett of Browning, MO; one daughter Joyce Ann Bennett of Brookfield, MO; one brother-in-law Jerry Bennett; one sister-in-law Dora Bennett; five grandchildren Kerri Jo Brenner, Josephs Edward Brenner Jr., Robin Joann Burkeybile, Brent Randall Gaunt, and Wendi Kaylee Gaunt; twenty three great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and several other relatives.

Leoma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clinton Bennett, three brothers Calvin Lambert, Marvin Lambert, and Irvin Lambert, one sister Lucille Cain, and an infant daughter Sharon Kay Bennett.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm. to 7:00 pm. Monday, June 28, 2021 at the Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO. with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 7:00 pm. with Pastor Tom Parks officiating.

We are recommending you to wear a mask.

Burial will be at a later date at the Jenkins Cemetery, Browning, MO.

Services are under the direction of the Rhodes Funeral Home.
