PATSY RUTH GORDON

Patsy Ruth Gordon, age 92, a past resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at her daughter’s residence in Fort Worth, Texas.

Patsy was born the daughter of Irving Keller and Bernice (Bachman) Keller on September 27, 1929 in Green City, Missouri. She was a 1948 graduate of Green City High School.

On June 24, 1954, she married Dean R. Gordon in Lawrence, Kansas, while he was serving in the Navy. She was employed at Hallmark cards in Kansas City, Missouri during this time. The navy took them to California, Canada and Tennessee, however, after Dean retired from the military, they settled in Chillicothe, Missouri in 1967. Her husband, Dean, preceded her in death on October 20, 1983. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Her hobbies included traveling to see her hildren, doing volunteer work and playing bridge.

Survivors include five children; three sons, Dean R. Gordon, Jr., of Fort Worth, Texas, Mark K. Gordon, of El Paso, Texas, and James M. Gordon and wife, Stephanie of Sugar Hill, Georgia, and two daughters, Anna B. Gordon of Eugene, Oregon, and Beverly F. Gordon of Fort Worth, Texas; one granddaughter, Mattelynn Gordon, and one sister, Annabelle Riley of Kirksville, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Henry Clifford Gordon, one brother, Samuel Keller and one sister, Iris Nadine Sanders.

Funeral services were held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Saturday, December, 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation was held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m., one hour prior to service time. Friends called at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 18, from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m. Interment was held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
