LEO CARLISLE BENSKIN

Leo was born September 12, 1945, West of Browning, Missouri to Russell and Helen (Hicks) Benskin. On May 2, 1965 he married Mary Corrine (Lambert) Benskin, she preceded him in death in 2019. Leo was also preceded by an infant son, Patrick; his parents; and a nephew, Stacy Stauffer. Leo was survived by: His two daughters, Tonda Riley and husband Eric of Unionville and Jill Odette Benskin of Raytown, Missouri; a granddaughter, Jaclyn Billington and husband Loren of Kirksville; a great granddaughter, Cali Jade Billington; a sister, Rosalea Stauffer and husband Larry of St. Catharine, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Ed Lambert of Pollock; two nephews, Tracy Stauffer and Wayne Stauffer; and a special friend, Martha Leasor.

Leo and Mary owned and operated L & M Floral for over 40 years. Leo loved the flower shop and enjoyed gardening in his own yard. He was also a member of the Browning United Methodist Church. Leo was a loving and devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather.

Graveside services for Leo will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Knifong Cemetery, East of Browning, Missouri. Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan is handling arrangements.
