WANDA JEAN OGLE

Wanda Jean Ogle, 95 years old, of Milan, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.

She was born July 28, 1926, South of Milan, Missouri to Homer P. and Etha M. (Dodson) Maggart. On May 16, 1942 she married Walter Lyle Ogle, he preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded by: Her parents; two brothers, Harold Dillinger and Donald Dillinger; and four sister-in-laws, Eula Murphy, Faye Clark, Dolly Young, and Darlene Sinclair and their spouses.

Wanda was survived by four children, Austin Lyle Ogle of Milan, Sheryl and husband Rick Viers of Milan, Marlene Stufflebean of Columbia, Missouri, and Dianne and husband Dean Booth of Kirksville; 12 grandchildren, Tim Ogle, Amy Ogle, Gina Bennett, Jeanette Gorup (Clint Bogard), Darin (Heather) Jaques, Kim (Curtis) Richardson, Shane (Cayla) Viers, Tim (Kendra) Viers, Justin Viers, Kristina (Richard) Anderson, Jeremy Stufflebean (Dustie Howard), and Rodney (Sunny) Stufflebean; 26 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren.

Wanda was baptized on October 21, 1962. She was a member of the Christ Community Church. Wanda travelled to many places doing missionary work, including Russia, Costa Rica, Haiti, Australia, Israel, and China. She enjoyed going to music shows and attending church, sewing, playing the piano, and talking on the phone with her friends. She most loved spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral services for Wanda will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. A visitation is scheduled for one hour prior, starting at 1:00 PM.
