The 2021-2022 Media District Basketball selection was released on March 39, 2022.
Chehk Niasse was selected: 1st Team Media All-District for Class 3 boys. Some of Chehk’s other honors received during this basketball season are: 1st Team Grand River Conference Selection; 1st Team Selection for the Tri- River All-Tournament Team; 1st Team in the Milan Basketball Tournament, as well as the MVP; Selected to the MBCA All- District Squad; and Player of the year in our District.
Cady Pauley was selected: 1st Team Media All-District for Class 3 girls. Some of Cady’s other honors received during this basketball season are: First Team Tri-Rivers All Tournament Team; Maxpreps Region 5 Player of the week,(twice); Kirksville KTUF/ KRXL Jamco Athlete of the week (twice); KTVO Athlete of the Month; Milan 1st Team All Tournament, as well as the Tournament MVP; KRES All Star; 1st Team GRC All- Conference; Class 3 District 16 All District Team; Scored 3,000 points in High School career, final tally was 3,074 points, which was 8th all-time for State scoring.
Ahmet Niasse was selected: 2nd Team Media All-District. Some other honors received were: 2nd Team Tri-River Tournament; 2nd Team All Conference in the GRC; MCA All District; 1st Team Milan Basketball Tournament.
