FCS Financial awarded a $500 Shaping Rural Missouri Grant to the Sullivan County Shooting Sports. The all county 4-H shooting team was in need of more advanced equipment to help their members learn and improve. FCS Financial awarded 73 Shaping Rural Missouri grants this year to 4-H clubs & FFA chapters with plans to complete a community improvement project by year end.
In the 11 years of its existence, more than $216,000 has been awarded to Missouri 4-H clubs and FFA chapters.
“This is the largest number of Shaping Rural Missouri Grants we have ever awarded. We are excited to see what these students are doing in their rural communities,” said David Janish, CEO, FCS Financial. “These grants enhance our rural communities and allow the 4-H and FFA members to work as a team to accomplish a worthy goal.”
The 2023 Shaping Rural Missouri Grant application will be available January 1 with a due date of April 1, 2023. The application is located at www.myfcsfinancial.com.
