The Hands of Friendship Quilt Guild Exhibit opened at the Sue Ross Arts Center on September 10, 2025.
The exhibit includes forty-two quilts by eighteen area quilters. There is no cost to visit the exhibit.
The arts center is open on weekdays from 11 am to 4 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm.
Included in the show are vintage and modern quilts. Quilts and wall hangings made for the guild’s Red and White challenge can be viewed in the Gaber Gallery at the arts center.
Visitors can vote for their favorite quilt to receive the “People’s Choice” award from the Kirksville Arts Association.
The guild also has a quilt that is being ra9ed on display at the arts center. Tickets for the ra9e quilt are $1 each and can be purchased at the arts center.
The exhibit will run through October 31st. A reception will be held on Thursday, September 18th from 5:30 to 6:30 and the public is invited.
