Area Veterans Honored At Green City Lions Club

Area Veterans were honored last week at the regular meeting of the Green City Lions Club. Eight veterans were served as well as spouses and friends. Veterans shared stories from their time in the service and Veteran Greg Bailey surprised everyone with MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) to take home at the end of the evening. The samples of the modern day C-Rations included Brisket, Chicken, Meatballs, and Vegetarian. The Lions Club is always proud to support our local veterans for their service.
