Sullivan County Sheriff Welcomes Deputy Gonzalez

Monday, Dec. 15, 2025 – The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the addition of a full-time deputy bringing the Office to full staff. Eduardo “Eddie” Gonzalez was hired as an Academy Cadet in August of this year.

Deputy Gonzalez completed his training at the University of Missouri Law Enforcement Training Institute and graduated on Dec. 11, 2025.

Deputy Gonzalez was sworn in by Judge Adam Warren at 1:30 pm, Monday and started his field training. He is expected to complete field training in a couple of months.

Deputy Gonzalez is the son of Jose and Marisol Gonzalez of Milan Missouri. He graduated from Milan High School in 2020
