Brashear Takes Baseball Matchup from Green City

Brashear (3-1) scored in four out of five inning sof their March 31, 2026 baseball contest with Green City at Brashear. Koenn Stewart and Bailyn Halley combined for a no hitter according to official Wild Tiger stats leading Brashear- Novinger to a 10-0 win in five innings.
Green City (0- 5) made defensive mistakes that contributed to the final outcome. The first inning was influenced by Green City drawing walks, filling the bases with two out. Cole Erwin caught a pop up behind the plate allowing starter Koenn Stewart to wiggle off the hook with no runs scored.
An error and two bases on balls loaded the bases with Wild Tigers during the bottom of the first inning with one out. Kaden McMann pout the ball in play, driving in the game’s first run on an error.
Clancy Ballinger struck out the next two batters, leaving the bases filled and Brashear holding a 1-0 lead after one inning of baseball. Koenn Stewart struck out the first two Gophers during the top of the second.
A walk and an error put Gopher runners on base. Koenn Stewart won the battle with Green City standout Clancy Ballinger, fanning the batter to end the inning without scoring.
Brashear put another run on the board during the bottom of the second for a 2-0 lead. Brashear broke the game open with a three run fourth and a five score fifth inning for the 10-0 win in five innings.
Cole Erwin tripled in Koenn Stewart four a 4-0 lead in the Wild Tiger fourth. Quincy Cha[man plated Cole Erwin for a 5-0 lead after four full innings.
Bailyn Halley tossed a scoreless top of the first inning. Bentley Henness relieved on the mound for Green City. Clancy Ballinger pitched four complete innings allowing five runs, four earned on five hits with six strikeouts and four walks.
Henness fanned a batter for the second out of the Brashear fifth inning. Bailyn Halley doubled home two runs. Koenn Stewart doubled home another Tiger run. Kaden McMann plated the game winner with a two run single.
Bentley Henness pitched two thirds of an inning striking out one with one base on balls. Brashear scored five runs on four hits off the Gopher reliever.
Brashear scored ten runs on nine hits. Cole Erwin and Kaden McMann drove in two runs each. Koenn Stewart had a hit and scored three times. Brashear displayed good balance up and down the order.
Jacob Love was 2-3 at bat with a run scored and another batted in. Seven Wild Tigers had a hit each. Bailyn Halley and Cole Erwin drove in two runs each.
