WILLIAM “BILL” JAMES CLARK
William “Bill” James Clark, 74, of Milan, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at his home surrounded by family.
Bill was born on August 5, 1949, to Marion James and Mary Lou(Lee) Clark.
He grew up in Milan and graduated from Milan High School in 1967. After high school, Bill joined the Navy where he served on aircraft carriers. After his return from deployment, Bill went to work at BNSF Railroad and continued there until his retirement. Bill was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milan.
He is survived by two children; Mindy Smith (Billy) of Milan and Samantha Williams (Rick) of Beaverton, Oregon, seven grandchildren; Christopher, Kyler, Benjamin, William (Colt), Richard, David and Brandon, nine great grandchildren, three siblings; Jerry Clark of Milan, Linda Zippe of Aledo, Illinois, and Sharon Wheeler of Milan, and several nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
He loved to read and watch westerns but most of all loved to spend time with family.
Bill’s wishes were to be cremated and a Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, August 5, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Milan, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church.
