Milan High School participated in the “CAN-STRUCTION” canned food drive fundraiser, with all donations going to the Milan Senior Center. They teamed up to donate 1171 cans this year, just 59 shy of beating last year’s donation!
The 8th Grade class donated the most cans per student, 303 cans total. They celebrated with a pizza party after the can-struction creations were built.
Ms. Purdun’s 8th grade CAT class donated the most cans with 209 cans and Mr. Wilcox’s 9th grade CAT class donated the second most cans with a total of 159 cans! They celebrated with an ice cream party at lunch today.
The Seniors “Wishing Well” was the winner of the can-struciton contest. This group of builders will celebrate by doing the shopping for a family the MHS student body will “adopt” for Christmas and going out to lunch as a group.
We know how important it is for our community to support our students, so we love getting the opportunity for our students to support our community!
