Newtown-Harris State Track Results – Kinsley Allnutt and Remington Miller

Allnutt Earns State Runner-Up Finish in Javelin for Newtown-Harris JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Newtown-Harris brought home a state medal from the MSHSAA Class 1 state track and field meet May 22-23 at Jefferson City High School. Kinsley Allnutt led the Lady Tigers with a runner-up finish in the girls javelin, placing second in Class 1 with a throw of 39.22 meters. The performance earned Allnutt all-state honors and gave Newtown-Harris one of the top finishes of the weekend. Remington Miller also competed at state for Newtown-Harris, placing 11th in the girls triple jump with a mark of 9.81 meters.

Dabney Earns Sectional Berth For Milan At Class 2 Dist. 3 Meet

SHELBINA, Mo. — Marian Dabney led Milan at the MSHSAA Class 2 District 3 track and field meet Saturday, May 9, at South Shelby High School, earning a sectional berth in the girls shot put. Dabney placed third in the shot put with a throw of 10.77 meters to advance to sectionals next weekend. The top four finishers in each event qualified.
