GARY L. WYANT
Gary L. Wyant, 75, of Lawson, Missouri, died peacefully May 2, 2026 at his lake house, held in love and surrounded by those he treasured most.
He was born June 11, 1950, in Unionville, Missouri; he was a proud U.S. Marine and Vietnam-era veteran.
Gary retired from Platte-Clay Electric as a lineman and was known for his strong work ethic and high standards. He was straightforward, expected excellence, and lived by the words, “You can sleep when you’re dead.” He loved enjoying time at his lake house, his family, and clean vehicles.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Wyant; children Jamie Stewart (Ron), Kara Dunlap, Tristan Sales (Sammy), Gary M. Wyant (Shelby), Michael Grant, Paul Grant (Jennifer), Brian Grant (Colleen), and Andrea Grant; 25 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Deborah Farrell.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8, 2026, 9–10 a.m., at Bross and Spidle Lawson Chapel with funeral services at 10–11 a.m., followed by graveside with military honors and burial at New Hope Cemetery.
