BERNARD LEO YARDLEY
Bernard Leo Yardley passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in Liberty Missouri.
Bernard was born on September 16, 1930 in Milan Missouri. He graduated from Milan High School in Milan, Missouri. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1948 and served for four years honorable.
Bernard married Ruth Jacques and they were married for 39 years.
He was employed with Union Pacific Railroad. He also worked for Trans World Airlines and retired from there after 34 years.
Bernard rented land for his cattle in Liberty, Missouri for many years. He then bought a farm in Lathrop Missouri and moved his family from Liberty in 1973.
Bernard was a member of the Masons. He was also a member of Lathrop Christian Church and Chandler Baptist Church.
Bernard is survived by his long-time partner Judy Morrow, daughter Kimberleigh Pannell (Chris), three grandchildren Rachelle Brown, Christopher Brown (Ashley), Season Tingler (Jerad) and four great grandchildren.
Bernard was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Yardley and his son Michael Yardley. He was also preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Kearney, Missouri.
Visitation was held one hour prior to the time of service.
