FRANCIS JOSEPH “FRANK” BRADY

Francis Joseph “Frank” Brady, 79, of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at North Kansas City Hospital after a short illness.

He was born May 5, 1942 in Aurora, IA to Thomas Francis and Dorcas Avon (Crawford) Brady.

Frank attended high school in Green City, MO before graduating from Bishop Lillis Catholic High School in Kansas City in 1960. Following high school, he served proudly in the United States Army. He earned a BA and MA in Health Services Administration from UMKC. Frank served as CEO in community, Catholic and proprietary hospitals before founding Brady & Associates in 1985, a company focused on supporting the management initiatives of hospitals in the United States and throughout the world.

Frank valued family above all other things. He was a wise man who enjoyed sharing his viewpoints through lively discussions and writing. He was a huge fan of the Kansas City Royals and the Chiefs. A perfect evening for Frank would include being surrounded by family, engaged in conversation while watching the Royals on TV with a glass of red wine in hand. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by all.

He married Donna Jean Rogers on June 6, 1970 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City, IA. In addition to Donna, survivors include their children, Mark Brady (Kayla) of Kansas City, MO, Sean Brady (Lisa) of Colorado Springs, CO, Tim Brady (Georgia) of Kansas City, MO, Kathy Wright (Andy) of Liberty, MO and Mike Brady (Tawney) of Kansas City, MO; four siblings, Louise Lawless (Mike) of Gladstone, MO, Greg Brady of Kansas City, MO, Roxanne Brady of Excelsior Springs, MO, and Colleen Keeton of Gladstone, MO; 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dan Brady.

All services will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church. Visitation 5:00- 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021 where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021. Interment will follow at Resurrection North Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Memories and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.
