Wanda Louise Rouse, 74 years old, of Milan, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan.

Wanda was born September 7, 1946, to Earl and Wilma (White) Cordray. She married Bennie Branham and they had four children. She later married Bob Rouse and he preceded her in death. Wanda was also preceded in death by: Her parents; a daughter, Evelyn Revell; a grandchild, Steven Cassity; and brothers, Quinton Cordray, Earl Cordray, and Marvin Cordray.

Wanda was survived by: three children, Earl L. Branham of Milan, Bennie Branham of Henderson, NV, and Wilma Johnson of Milan; grandchildren, Rachel Cassity, Charissa Stiner, Christopher Branham, Corey Stiner, Chasity Burk (Christopher), Cameron Bozman, Jared Branham, and Dakota Anders; great grandchildren, Andrew Cassity, Paige Singer, Johnathan Moore, Levi Schrock, Preston Schrock, Colton Schrock, Naylee Cassity, Haley Burk, Hayden Burk, Holden Burk, Mattie Stiner, Willow Stiner, and Axton Bozman; sisters, Sandra Sanders of Kirksville and Barbara Whisnet of Edina; and several nieces and nephews.

Wanda grew up and lived most of her life in Sullivan County. Throughout her life she worked in home health and in nursing homes. She liked going fishing and mushroom hunting, and also enjoyed gardening and drawing. She loved her cats and all animals, but most loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Wanda will be cremated, and a service will be held at a later date. Schoene- Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan is handling arrangements.
