Donna Jane Reckrodt

Donna Jane Reckrodt, 83 years old of Pollock, Missouri passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 in Sarasota, Florida.

Donna was born October 2, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois to Donald and Leatha (Baker) Robinson, they both preceded her in death.

She married George Reckrodt on June 26, 1958, in Linneus, Missouri, he survives her of the home. Also surviving her are their 5 children, Ron Reckrodt and wife Teresa of Unionville, Bryan Reckrodt and wife Brenda of Unionville, Laura George and husband Jeff of Pollock, Gary Reckrodt and wife Shawntawn of Olathe, Kansas, and William Reckrodt and wife Jamie of Pollock; Grandchildren, Angela (Brandon) Myer, Courtney (Cole) Lawler, Angela (Jared) Chapman, Kristopher Reckrodt, Amber (Josh) Benham, Heather Schmit, Brittany (Ben) Sorensen, Gregory (Ashley) George, Matthew George, Brandon (Alyssa) George, Gabriel Reckrodt, Garret Reckrodt, Johnathan (Jessica) Reckrodt, and Jeska Herrera; Great Grandchildren, Evelyn Lawler, Corey Chapman, Rayden Chapman, Zane Chapman, Abigail George, Braydon George, Aveline Benham, Cameron Barclay, and Loxley Reckrodt; and several cousins.

Donna grew up in the Chicago area, graduating from Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, Illinois, and then attended Thornton Junior College in Harvey, Illinois. Donna and George moved from Tinley Park, Illinois to Pollock in 1969 with their 5 children. She was an OATS bus driver for 5 years and worked at High Hope for over 20 years and was currently serving on their Board of Directors. Donna was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Milan. She enjoyed cooking and serving others, going fishing, and loved her flowers and birds. Donna was a competitive game player. Most of all, she was a wonderful Mother and Wife.

Funeral services for

donna were held Saturday, Februart 5, 2022 at the Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan with Rev. David Lukefahr officiating. Burial followed at the Campbell Cemetery, north of Milan.
