BRENDA SUE (BELZER) EDGAR

Brenda Sue (Belzer) Edgar was welcomed into this world on August 18, 1949 to parents Clyde Kermit Belzer and Ruth Hazel (Reed) Belzer. She peacefully passed to her heavenly life on the night

of Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 72 years old, surrounded by her family and all their love.

Brenda grew up in Winigan and Purdin, Missouri. She loved being outside, helping her mom collect the eggs from the chickens, milk the cows, and tend the garden.

She enjoyed taking walks, riding her bicycle, following her big brother around, and going fishing with her grandpa. She attended Shelby School, Browning School, and graduated from Liberty High School/Linn County R-I in 1967. Following

high school, she worked at Brown Shoe Factory from 1967 to 1976, perfectly sewing the design on the front of the shoes.

She married David Paul Edgar on September 15, 1973 in their newly built home north of St.

Catharine, MO. They had been married for 48 years. Together, they welcomed into the world a son, Michael Shawn, on May 27, 1976, and a

daughter, Jennifer Renae, on February 4, 1979. Her children were the light

of her life. She devoted her life to educating and working with Michael and being involved with Jennifer’s school and activities. Brenda loved to sew, make crafts, decorate her house, talk

on the phone to family and friends, care for her pets, have the family together, track her family’s genealogy, scrapbook, cook, and play with her granddaughter Avery.

She is preceded in death by her baby sister, Connie Sue Belzer; her parents, Clyde and Ruth Belzer; and her son, Michael Edgar.

Brenda is survived by her husband, David Edgar, of the home; daughter, Jennifer Edgar, of Holden, MO; granddaughter, Avery Edgar, of Holden, MO; brother, Bob Belzer, of Pensacola, FL; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
