Anita Jean Dehm, 84 Paola, Kansas passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Anita was born May 15, 1937, the daughter of Juanita (Page) and Glen Rouse of Green City, Missouri. She was the oldest of two children.

Anita married the love of her life John H, Dehm on June 1, 1957. They celebrated 55 years of marriage before the passing of John on March 20, 2013.

Anita’s career began as a secretary at the Green City High School.

Anita and John moved to Kansas City for better career opportunities. Anita was employed as the secretary for the Superintendent of the Kansas City Kansas School District. Anita and John moved to Lenexa, Kansas where she was employed as a secretary for Mid- America Container a division of Coke- Cola, and finally, the bookkeeper at Olathe North High School until her retirement in 1999.

Upon Anita’s retirement they sold their house, packed the fifth wheel camper and they were off enjoying travels and adventures where they made many life-long friends. Anita favorite past-time was staying in contact with those treasured friends through phone calls or Facebook.

She is preceded in death by her true love John Dehm, her parents Juanita (Page) and Glen Rouse, Father-in-law Howard Dehm, Son-in-law Thomas Hadd III, Great-grandson Cameran Comtesse, and Brother-in-law Larry Johnson.

Anita is survived by her three daughters and spouses Tonya Everley (Gary) Baldwin, KS, Tanza Hadd Paola, KS, Tambee Thurlo (Duane) Hillsdale, KS; Sister, Joyce Johnson; Mother-in-law Virginia Dehm; Brother-in-law Mike Dehm; Seven grandchildren, Adam Everley, Ashlee (Everley) Anderson, Thomas Hadd IV, Jacqueline (Hadd) Comtesse, Tabatha (McCallum) Grace, Zackary McCallum; Step grandson Mike Thurlo; Eleven great-grandchildren; two nieces and three nephews.

Anita (Rouse) Dehm and John Dehm will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Green City, Missouri.
