STEVE CUNNINGHAM

 

Steve Cunningham 68 years old was born October 2, 1955 and passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 in Colombia, Missouri. 

Steve was preceded in death by his father: Leo Cunningham, mother: Ruth Lucille Geosling, and nephew: Seth Cunningham. 

Surviving are his friend, Chris Fanning, brother: Russell Cunningham and wife Carolyn; nieces: Misty Allen and husband Jason Allen and daughter Liv, Millicent O’Brien and husband Kevin and daughter Oona; nephew: Caleb Cunningham and son Cash, Micah Cunningham and wife Ashley, their children, son Issac and daughter Joslyn, and nephew: Christian Cunningham. 

Steve lived his entire life in Green City, graduating from Green City High School. 

He worked at various jobs through out North Eastern Missouri, but excelled in mechanic work. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family helping solve technical mechanical issues. 

Steve enjoyed hunting and had a nice gun collection of which he was very proud 

He had a heart of gold and he opened his home to those in dire need. They were made to feel at home. He would share what he had with any in need. 

One of Steve’s special friends was his dog Sally Ann, who enjoyed all the comforts of home and was treated as well as any family member. Sally out lived him which may have been a good thing. She is in good hands with friend Chris. 

Steve accepted Christ as his personal Savior and had perfect peace in leaving this earth. 

His remains will be laid to rest next to his Mother at the Mount Olive Cemetery. 

The graveside services will be announced at a later date. Officiating will be pastor Allen Coonfield.
